5k Race

Welcome – Namaste to Rushmoor Wellesley Gurkha VC 5k, a community organised race, starting and finishing near the historic military town of Aldershot.

The route is very flat, on Polo fields and the Basingstoke Canal towpaths. Ideal for those who love easy trail running with some really lovely views, or others who just want to try something new. It’s a local race that brings the whole community together.

This year the back of the race medal depicts the Gurkha Memorial statue, which is dedicated to the first Gurkha to be awarded the Victoria Cross. You will receive this medal if you finish the brand new Rushmoor Wellesley Gurkha VC 5k race, which is a fast flat trail race starting on the Polo Fields (just after the 10k)  Enter the 5k below (Age 12+ only).
